About Us
CON CARIÑO
Con Cariño is a Spanish phrase meaning “with love” or “with care.” It’s the way we approach everything — from preparing our food and drinks, to welcoming our guests, to showing up for one another as a team.
Made with intention.
Rooted in tradition.
Shared with cariño.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND CON CARIÑO

Maria
Maria is a Chicana, born in the southwestern United States and raised in Southern California. With African American and Mexican roots tied to northern Mexico and the Southwest, she grew up in a Mexican-American household where tradition, food and community were part of ordinary life. The idea for Con Cariño came from a simple intention: to share. After arriving in Morocco as a traveller and an outsider, she was met with real warmth from the people around her. The café became her way of giving that feeling back — a place where locals and travellers alike can meet Mexican culture through the same hospitality she was shown.
Fahd
Fahd was raised in London with Pakistani and Mexican roots, surrounded by different cultures and points of view. His path has taken him across several parts of the world, and years ago he found a sense of home in Morocco. Inspired by the people, the culture and the spiritual depth of the country, he approaches each project with intention. His first, Je Sui Calisthenics in Casablanca, was built around movement and mentorship for young people.
